On Friday 29th  June, Yr. 10 , 11 and 12 attended the annual Sedgwick Service. Dressed in their best attire, Yr11 students were all presented with their National Record of Achievement, to celebrate their successes over the last five years. Our guest of honour was Dayo Adeagb, Vice Chair of Governors made the presentations . A number of Yr11 students were presented with subject awards for English, Maths, Science, Creative Excellence and one additional Yr10 award for RE. Congratulations to all the winners !

Alongside the subject awards, 15 students were awarded with Sedgwick Medals and following  tradition, the medallists processed outside of the church to Harry Sedgwick’s tomb and laid a wreath . During this section, there was a fantastic musical item performed by Year 9 students who have been working with The Guildhall school of Music and Drama, funded and supported by The Worshipful Company of the Cordwainers. Finally, at the end of the service , Yr10 were celebrating as the new student leadership team was announced. Congratulations to the new team ! I feel very confident in your abilities to match, if not better the previous team.
