Year 9 student Kacper Filar has qualified for the Southern England Gigafinal of the Delancey Schools National Junior Chess Championship. The championship is the largest chess tournament in the world, with over 50,000 school children entering the competition. Read More
Chess club members qualify for Delancey UK Megafinal

Twelve of our finest Chess Club members have qualified to compete in the Delancey UK Schools’ Chess Challenge Regional Megafinal, to be held at Camden School for Girls on Sunday 17th May. Read More
Students took part in a mock general election today, when the whole school was given the opportunity to decide which of the five main political parties to vote for. The students voted at the school’s polling station, which was open before and after school and at lunch and break time. Students were given one chance to vote, choosing between Labour, the Conservatives, UKIP, the Liberal Democrats and the Green Party. Read More
Medal glory at London Youth Games

Congratulations to our Year 7 Sportshall Athletics team who took home well earned bronze medals from Europe’s largest annual youth sports event. The team placed third in the Sportshall Athletics Year 7 Female Competition at the Balfour Beatty London Youth Games. Read More
Muslim Youth Festival
13th April 2015
On Saturday 29th March 2015, six Urswick students attended the Muslim Youth Festival organised by the London Metropolitan Police. The students were escorted by Assistant Headteacher, Dele Rotimi, and Safer for Schools police officer, Hakim Sadouk. Read More
