School Closure - Children of Key Workers and Vulnerable Children

Parents who are key workers and vulnerable children can attend school by prior arrangement from Tuesday 5th January.

KS3 students start at 8.30am and finish at 2.45pm.

KS4 students start at 9.30am and finish at 2.30pm.

You must wear school uniform and a face covering. You will be provided with a hot lunch. Breakfast is available to buy from 8am and 9am respectively. Your temperature will be taken on arrival. Do not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid 19 or if any of your household is ill or waiting a test result. We do not yet have the facilities to give you a Covid test. If you are ill your parents need to arrange a test for Covid 19.

You will follow your usual timetable. Bring a bag, your Urswick pencil case and planner and your books for lessons on that day. There will be no lesson 6.

At the start of lunchtime you will be doing the Daily Mile – which is a walk to keep you physically fit. You do not need PE kit to do this. Having completed this outdoor walk you will be given a hot lunch.

Failure to follow instructions, including any Covid safety measures will lead to a detention at the end of the school day. We will telephone your parents if we are going to keep you in.

Please contact the school if you have any further queries.

Happy New Year
