London Business School Celebratory Event
On Wednesday 9th July, a group of Year 12 students from The Urswick School Sixth Form attended a prestigious celebration event at London Business School, marking the successful completion of the LBS Enrichment Programme 2024–2025.
Throughout the academic year, 16 Urswick students participated in a transformative series of nine lectures delivered by world-class LBS professors. Topics ranged from finance and creativity to entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility, giving students a unique opportunity to experience what many would call a “mini-MBA” from one of the world’s leading business institutions.
Each student who attended the programme received a signed letter from the Dean of LBS, acknowledging their commitment and engagement. The students’ curiosity, dedication and intellect were clear for all to see and it paid off.
Not only were Urswick students the sole winners of the End-of-Year Quiz, competing against five other schools, but they also took home individual prizes for their knowledge and teamwork.
A special congratulations goes to the seven students who achieved outstanding engagement throughout the programme and were awarded a place on the LBS Honour Roll. These exceptional students also received a special prize from LBS for their dedication
Tina Clark, Community Engagement Manager at London Business School, shared glowing feedback about Urswick’s cohort:
“The students from The Urswick School were exceptional. Their enthusiasm, insight and willingness to engage stood out from the very beginning. We can’t wait to welcome them back in the new academic year and are hoping many will join our bespoke leadership development programme: ‘The Power of You’.”
We are incredibly proud of all our students who took part in the programme. Their achievements are not only a testament to their hard work, but also a shining example of the talent and ambition we nurture here at Urswick Sixth Form.
Here’s to more opportunities, more learning, and more success in the future!
