Technical Sound Workshop

Our year 10 GCSE Drama students had the wonderful opportunity of attending a technical sound workshop at the Old Vic theatre this week. They worked with theatre staff to create sound effects for the current production on stage using the latest technology and theatre equipment. The students gained some real production insight from this workshop and it was an enjoyable experience. They also had the fantastic opportunity of watching the Old Vic theatre's latest production of 'One flew over the Cuckoo's nest' with amazing actors such as Aaron Pierre. The students loved the production and will use this to practice writing about live theatre in preparation for their exams. They were a real credit to the school and both trips were a great success!
