Head of Economics

Salary: Up to UPS3 (Inner London) - £60,092 plus *TLR 2a (£3,391)
From September 2025

The Urswick School is an oversubscribed 11-19 Secondary School in the centre of Hackney. 

We are looking to recruit an excellent teacher of AS and A Level Economics to lead the department and join our expanding team of Sixth Form teachers. 

The timetable currently is for ten hours per week teaching A Level and AS Level Economics plus EPQ and supervision of sixth form study support. Please state if you are able to teach any additional subject(s). 
The school has no plans to introduce Business Studies into our curriculum.

*TLR 2A (£3,391) is available to a suitably experienced candidate.
