Assistant Headteacher : Curriculum, Teaching & Learning

The Urswick School is an 11-19 Secondary School in the centre of Hackney.

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher who will lead and support the Quality of Education brief at the school. You will work strategically with the Quality of Education lead and Headteacher to instill and sustain excellence in teaching & learning and the quality of the curriculum. You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and contribute to the strategic leadership of the school and all aspects of whole school priorities.

The ideal candidate has experience of effectively leading change and working in a challenging inner-city context. Urswick has an excellent record of developing leadership talent – six former members of SLT are now Headteachers!
